#5 - Thoughts about "Thug Day"

I feel like there is truth about white boy males imitating what a thug is; they resort to thinking about African American boys or men. I do understand the reason why they would think about African Americans and the word thug because of the history behind it. When you see or hear the word "thug", I feel like that word is attached to a certain race, basically Black people. I know there is a long history of how Black men have been criminalized and stereotyped as dangerous and violent.
